Days ago, fans got to know about many new Mortal Kombat 1 DLCs. These DLCs came with new characters like The Peacemaker being introduced to the roster. Now, Ed Boon teases the community about the return of Takahashi Takeda from Mortal Kombat X by sharing a photo of a cosplayer.

Dancer and cosplayer TefCu98 has donned the drapes of Takeda and has attracted the attention of the MK head honcho Ed Boon. And Boon has stopped just by sharing the brilliant cosplay. Instead, he kept the fans guessing about Takeda being a playable character in Mortal Kombat 1 in the future. Member of the Kombat Kids, Takeda was one of the main protagonists in MKX. Takeda’s Fist Flurry and Spear Ryu were only a few in his arsenal and his skills got him a lot of fans.

Some said its predecessors caught the franchise’s essence much better than this one does. However, as the revised history of the Underworld unfolds, fans are gradually coming to terms with Mortal Kombat 1.

The Homelander, OMNI-MAN, and Harley Quinn have all helped to make the gameplay feel dynamic and exciting. If Takeda indeed comes back, many fans will feel relieved that their character of choice will once again give them an edge over their opponents.
