Elden Ring developer FromSoftware revealed their latest game, Armored Core VI, during the Game Awards 2022. Fans were surprised that their favorite developer was putting their hands on something more than just a Soulslike title. They finally went back to their mech combat roots and once again gave life to a world full of mechs fighting each other in a desperate struggle for survival.

Despite the trailer having a lot of Soulslike vibes, it was eventually confirmed that it wasn’t a Soulslike title. And in true FromSoftware fashion, not much news came after the initial trailer launch, but it appears the series of leaks has started!

Key Art is one of the most basic pieces of a game’s development. Most developers and publishers use the Key Art of their games in multiple ways. They use it for publicity; they use it between loading screens, and they use it as a pre-load screen every now and then.

It appears FromSoftware is using a piece of their game’s key art for their pre-load screen. The art is full of details, showcasing a bunch of stuff from the game. And the user who actually leaked the game seems to be able to pre-load the game too. This means people are getting to play this anticipated game already.

This artwork shows a mech standing with a sword and a huge broken metal bridge behind it. It is surrounded by the debris of enemies that it disposed of. And the environment is colored with a pink hue.

The art looks excellent for sure, and in true FromSoftware fashion, it is trying to tell a story. That mech probably just fought a bunch of enemies and is standing upright with the help of its massive sword.

Here’s hoping FromSoftware does not sacrifice the difficulty of their games, because their games do get popular, but they are not everyone’s cup of tea, all thanks to their difficulty. This time too, fans are expecting this game to be hard as nails, and that’s only justified, as FromSoftware has mostly served a niche audience.
