The YouTube streamer got hooked on the MOBA game after watching the Netflix series Arcane and playing at the MrBeast vs. Ninja event. In his latest Mogul Mail video, Ludwig talked about how he wasted $50,000 on getting an experience similar to watching an event on TV at home.

Ludwig regretted his $50,000 investment at World 2022

The 27-year-old decided to buy a booth at the venue to enjoy the finals with his friends. Ludwig inquired at the Chase Center to buy an available booth there. Luckily, he got the “best seats” available at the arena, the closest booth to the main stage.

It was a front-row seat and getting it sounded like a great place to witness the grand League event. Even Ludwig thought to pull off an Adam Sandler-like move at the eSports event. As the comedian sometimes appears on TV during NBA matches because he sits in the front-row seats.

But when he reached the event, he knew it was the worst decision. He couldn’t see what the players were doing on the computer from those seats. Most of the audience watches the match on the enormous screens at the venue. But it was hard for Ludwig to watch the screen from the booth he booked.

So with no option left, Ludwig and his friends have to go to a private lounge and watch the entire event there on a big TV. The 27-year-old shared his experience, “You can about live this experience at home if you just doordash some food and you have a 70-inch TV. It’s about the same experience.”

The Mogul Mail creator became a DRX fanboy

Ludwig shared that he was rooting for DRX despite most of his friends supporting the other team, T1. The YouTuber became a fan of the DRX leader Deft, who played his last League match before quitting eSports to serve his mandated military service.

Moreover, Depth’s backstory compelled Ludwig to cheer for him, as the League pro went to the same school as the T1’s leader, Faker. However, the latter became the best player in the sport, while Dept was able to reach similar heights.
