Infinity Ward has been working too hard on their upcoming title, Call of Duty modern warfare 2. After all, it is the most anticipated game of the year.

 

It all started a few weeks back with the franchise releasing the teaser, followed by a reveal trailer that did not work out well. Fans were disappointed with it, as they felt it did not match the hype.

Later, the company tried a different marketing style by flashing the fan-loved members of Taskforce141 on iconic landmarks throughout the world. It caught the eye of many as the move left them awestruck. Overall, the game’s hype has not been reduced because of Infinity Ward’s Twitter page, which uploaded a separate cover art for every member of 141.?

Earlier, we had informed you that Activision would release the game on next-gen consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox series S, and Xbox series X. But now, a Call of duty informant has hinted the game to be released on PC. On 29th May 2022 Twitter user CharlieIntel put out a tweet talking about it on their Twitter handle.

It said, ‘Breaking: #ModernWarfare2 artwork has shown up on Steam, suggesting the franchise will return to Steam on PC.’?They also uploaded a leaked image to support their thesis. Here’s how it looks.?

Notably, only a few Call of Duty titles are available on Steam. They include some remasters alongside Call of Duty Blackops I and II and World of War. Due to this, steam members have always faced an issue with the new games.

A prime example was the recently released COD Vanguard that was only available on Battle.net. So if Activision is planning to release the game on PC, they should do it during the initial release.?

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare could change Activision’s future!

The upcoming Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will act as a game-changer for the franchise because of its massive popularity. With a release date of 28th October 2022, the game is set to release quite before the Activision Blizzard – Microsoft deal happening in early 2023.
