Fortnite is on a mission to include several new IPs within its banner. It already has added an army of popular characters, including some of the famous heroes from the DC and Marvel universe. Besides this, Epic is well known to collaborate with brands and companies to attract players within their fanbase.

Chapter 3 Season 1 must have definitely pleased the fans with all the amazing content that Epic has released so far. Starting from the Spiderman skin, there was a plethora of content, including the Winterfest event and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the Foundation.

As per reports, Epic has signed a new deal with Paramount Pictures to bring in their IPs into Fortnite. This opens up endless possibilities to see some beloved on-screen characters in this fan favorite battle royale game!

Rumors suggest Epic signs new deal with Paramount Pictures

Leaker ShiinaBR has picked up on a rumor from Xbox Podcast’s @Shpeshal_Nick that Paramount might have signed an exclusive deal with Epic to bring their IPs to Fortnite. This creates the possibility of several IPs debuting in Fortnite, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The leaker has stated that TMNT was one of the exclusive IPs mentioned under the deal.

What are the possibilities in Fortnite after this new deal?

This further has the possibility for some of the most famous IPs to start pouring into Fortnite. Spongebob Squarepants, the famous Nickelodeon cartoon character, is one of the most demanded characters on Fortnite all over social media. If this rumor actually turned out to be true, fans might get to go around as Spongebob, Patrick or Squidward in the game! Well, this is subject to Epic releasing all the Spongebob characters or just the protagonist himself!

Furthermore, there are possibilities to see the Transformers franchise enter the game as well. Imagine going around as the Autobots on the map and having the ability to change into a vehicle with mounted weaponry? Undoubtedly, that would be an amazing addition to thrill the gameplay.

This leaves no fewer chances for Mission Impossible and Halo TV series’ version of Master Chief to come into the game. While there is already a Master Chief from the game series, a little variety in skins would do no harm either.
