Esports events competitions always get a great number of views. The League of Legends World Championship 2022 was one of the most-viewed eSports gaming events this year. But lately, streamers’ competitions are also getting a lot of attention from the gaming community.

Many streamers are hosting many competitions, and a lot of them are gaming events. These gaming competitions by streamers are getting as many views as they would get from official eSports events. Recently, the Twitter account Stream Charts released a report about all the most popular Streamer’s Competitions that were livestreamed on Twitch this year.

Stream Chart is a Twitter account that keeps an eye on all the activities on Twitch, especially on the viewership and follower counts of Twitch channels and streams. The best results for Streamers; Competition this year were for the events releated to Minecraft and Fortnite.

Minecraft and Fortnite streamers’ competitions were the most-significant

According to the reports, Twitch Rivals Squidcraft Games ft. Comanche, was the most watched streamer’s competition this year with over 17.76 million hours of watch time. Further, this Minecraft competition had the most number of 2.26 million peak viewers amidst any streamers’ competition this year.

It was a Minecraft event themed after the famous Korean Netflix show, Squid Game. These event featured some big-name Spanish-speaking streamers like Ibai, Rubius and Auronplay. Minecraft events, Twitch Rivals RingCraft ft. The GrefG and Saw Minecraft Games 2022, were also among the most-watched streamers competition.

Aside from Minecraft, Fortnite also managed to pull of some great results. They might not have the most-watched stats but got impressive peak viewers. Twitch Rivals Rust NA vs EU Showdown and Twitch Rivals Creator Series: Kick-off, ft. Fortnite Zero Build got 557.72K and 448.22K peak viewers respectively.

Pokemon competition did a great job too

Stream Chart revealed video aside from the Minecraft and Fortnite events, Pokemon also had impressive results. After the Squidcraft, the most-watched gaming event by streamers was the Pokemon Twitch Cup 2, where many popular Spanish-speaking streamers participated. It had over 16.79 million hours watched.
