Although many might think of his takes on things as somewhat reasonable, American multinational technology conglomerate, META, thinks otherwise. Recently, the company put a ban on Tate’s both Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Why was Andrew Tate’s account got banned?
In a recent article by BuzzFeed, it was cleared that the former Kick-boxer is considered a “dangerous individual” by Meta, where Andrew Tate falls under the Tier 3 category of Facebook’s community standards.
According to the article, “Tate’s notoriety surged over the past couple of weeks in response to viral moments featuring highly offensive comments about women, including a clip where he describes them as “property” and a tweet where he said women should take “some responsibility” for being sexually assaulted.”

The ‘Meta Ban’ on Tate made a few popular streamers give a take on the case. As controversial streamer JiDion supported the cause but was against the idea of a ban. Notably, Andrew Tate is also known for running an adult webcam business called ‘myfreecams’ with his brother, Tristan.
How do streamers react to the Andrew Tate ban?
There were several people commenting and sharing the news on Twitter, but Hasan Piker and JiDion had varied take on the case.
According to Piker, the former kick-boxer has been apologizing to the social media platform saying “he has never hated women.” To which the political commentator taunted Tate by saying “thought he ‘wanted to be away from the matrix’.” He also reacted to a comment who thought the ban can be considered funny by saying, “YOU’RE LAUGHING. MILLIONS OF 12 YO BOYS LOST THEIR NEW FATHER FIGURE AND YOU’RE LAUGHING.”
i was inclined to agree with this at first, but im currently watching him apologize profusely and claiming he has never hated women at the first slight of pushback from social media lmao. thought he "wanted to be away from the matrix" https://t.co/mPoggRpg4v

While on the other hand, JiDion said that he never agreed with Tate, but is also against the idea of banning someone since it is“straight soft.”

I don’t agree with him but banning people cause they say stuff you don’t like is just straight soft

This can also be seen in another light as recently he was banned from Twitch and his account on Tik-Tok got deleted. Also, his YouTube channel suffered from a strike. All this might be the reason for JiDion to think otherwise.
