Millionaire YouTuber MrBeast Reveals Why Some Term His Mammoth Giveaways Fake – “If I Give Away 100 Grand..”

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is one of the most popular content creators of this generation. He has built such an immensely huge career on YouTube that it is an inspiration to many.

But what transpires is a question that many fans ask him when they see participants in his videos getting a ton of money and with no reaction. Are MrBeast’s videos scripted? That was recently cleared when Jimmy himself explained how his videos had gotten so much better that they look almost fake.

MrBeast explains the problem with original content

MrBeast during a recent live stream was reacting to his ‘$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!’ video. While watching the video, he realized that during a portion, one of his participants acted a bit out of usual. He then explains, ” Sometimes just crazy stuff happens in our videos. And people are like ‘see the videos are scripted. Why wouldn’t she stop?’ And it’s like I don’t know, there are 456 people.”

Karl then further added, “there are so many times where we get worried that things look too scripted to put it in the video.”

To which MrBeast replied, “Sometimes I give people a hundred thousand dollars or they win a hundred grand.”

Then, while explaining that this is normal for fans to do, he said, “Which is fine because they’re not used to me on camera but they’ll be like ‘thank you. Cool.’ And like that’s good, that’s their way of like processing it.”

Why do people say his videos are fake or scripted?

While talking about why people think that most of his videos are fake, he explained that this is because he has been doing it in such a genuine manner that it almost looks scripted.

Explaining this, MrBeast said, “I just don’t know what to do when people don’t react. Sometimes when we give people money, they just don’t have the right expression. I sometimes just can’t even include it or I just get spammed ‘fake’.”
