Millionaire MrBeast Tells a 9-Year-Old a “Selfish” Secret About Being YouTube’s Biggest Philanthropist

MrBeast is a YouTuber known for his expensive videos and mind-boggling challenges, but what he is most adored for is his work for charity. The 24-year-old YouTuber has always been a giver, not just on his main channel but does a lot of charitable deeds on his other channels as well.

Recently, in an interview with a 9-year-old YouTuber, MrBeast explained why he actually does philanthropy. The answer that MrBeast gave was as genuine as it could get. Here’s what happened.

MrBeast reveals why he does charity to a young YouTuber

In a recent philanthropy video, MrBeast gave five buses full of school supplies to his nearby schools in need. In that same video, there was also a little girl studying in one of those schools, who is also a very popular kid YouTuber named Ava Foley.

As in a recent video uploaded on her channel, it was revealed that little Ava asked MrBeast why he loves doing charity. She asked, “All of your videos help other people what drives your charity work?”

To which MrBeast in a very shocking tone, replied, “Oh, that’s a sweet question, probably something a little selfish. I just find it fun and it’s kind of fun for me and I enjoy it, you know.” He also added, “I wish I had a deeper answer, but for me, that’s why.”

What was the video about?

In the recent MrBeast video, he and his philanthropy team can be seen distributing school supplies filled in five school buses. They planned on giving these supplies to America’s poorest schools.

MrBeast can be thus seen distributing $200,000 worth of school items around his neighborhood in North Carolina, and additional $50,000 school supplies to a school in Arizona. Additionally, he also donated money to teachers and staff as a show of support for them.

Notably, he has done many such donations to school teachers and schools in his other videos, such as the “Whatever you carry, I will pay for” series and other videos as well. Although some may say that this is not a good thing to film while doing charity, the reactions that people give while receiving such genuine care from someone who is basically a stranger to them makes for a beautiful moment to witness.
