Just check your email once, maybe a $100 gift card is waiting for you. Apparently, Microsoft is sending emails to random Xbox users with up to $100gift cards. And while this may sound fake/scam or just an online rumor, it’s not. This is not a fake marketing strategy, well hard to believe, but that’s the truth.

The promotion was first noticed by the Wario64 Twitter account and later on it was also confirmed by Microsoft. The gifted cards start from $10 and can be everywhere between the range of $10 to $100. So just check your email to find out about it. Well, it is definitely a brilliant marketing strategy by Microsoft ahead of the sale.

Other than this amazing surprise for players, Microsoft is also running a number of great deals currently. This includes $500 off PC, $200 off on Surface Laptop Go, and many more. Microsoft is also offering free Anime with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate right now. You can use your gift card to avail of these offers as well. The majority of players are checking their other email accounts as well, just to be sure. Like the old email address, they no longer use. However,  Right now, it is quite unclear how many gift cards have been sent to the players, let alone once with the grand $100 amount.

Microsoft hasn’t revealed any more details about it other than just announcing the gift card. So it’s pretty unclear why they are sending out this surprise treat. Definitely, it is a gift from Microsoft to some selected Xbox users out there.
