It has maintained that there’s no such intention. It wants to keep releasing Call of Duty on PlayStation and even Nintendo Switch.

Microsoft says Sony prevents games from coming to Xbox
In a recent statement to FTC Microsoft claimed that Sony has over the years prevented numerous third-party games from coming to Xbox consoles. This is not even surprising, there have been a number of games that haven’t been released on Xbox consoles even after several years of their launch on PC and PlayStation.
Bloodborne, was developed by From Software in partnership with Sony’s Japan studios and released for
PlayStation 4, years ago. There have been numerous rumors of its PC release lately. But no one ever mentions that there’s a chance of it releasing for Xbox.Final Fantasy VII Remake was also released exclusively on PlayStation consoles a while ago. This game was called a timed exclusive by Square Enix and it was eventually released for PC too. But there’s no indication that Xbox players would ever be able to play it.
And now a similar thing is happening with Final Fantasy VI. The latest game in this long-running Japanese role-playing series would be released exclusively for PlayStation 5. It might launch for PC in a while. But there’s no news regarding its Xbox version ever hitting the market.

Exclusives have been Sony’s main strength for years
Sony’s Playstation has been surviving this console war for so long only because of its exclusives. Games like God of War, Uncharted, the Last of Us, and Gran Turismo, are only a few of the numerous exclusives that Sony worked on over the years to make their platform stand out.
The same goes for Nintendo, they have only survived the gaming Industry for so long thanks to their high-quality exclusives. Exclusives matter so much that even an underpowered console such as Nintendo Switch has been defeating Microsoft’s Xbox in sales.
