Basketball legend LeBron James, along with Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny, are three major characters set to feature in the upcoming movie Space Jam: A New Legacy. Microsoft has found a promote the movie and given gamers something they’d like at the same time. Three new Xbox controllers with a Space Jam design and a new Space Jam-themed video game that is set to arrive on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks on July 1.

Space Jam: A New Legacy: what to expect

The Space Jam-themed game will be basketball-based beat ’em up. Players will get to play as the Tune Squad as they try to escape the Warner Bros. server. Lola, Bugs, and also LeBron James will face off against the feared Goon Squad. The Tune Squad will also have to push through hordes of AI G.’s subordinates. AI G. is the artificial intelligence responsible for Tune Squad’s imprisonment in the server. And players must try to collect all the pieces of the “Legacy Code”. Without these codes, players won’t be able to enter AI G.’s hideout.

The Tune Squad also has a variety of moves up their sleeves which they will need to make use of to free themselves.

Alongside a decent game, players will also get to purchase three different controllers, each with its own unique design. The three controllers are the Goon Squad controller, the Tune Squad controller, and the Serververse controller. The Goon squad controller boasts a dark purple combined with a neat black color for a cool look. The Tune Squad combines orange and blue to create a colorful look. And the Serververse controller sports a unique look by combining different shades of blue on top of a darker color.

There were multiple ways Microsoft could’ve decided to promote the movie, and giving gamers three controllers and a decent game was one of the better ones.
