What will this acquisition bring to the industry?

Phil Spencer himself while talking to the Wall Street Journal said that he thinks that Microsoft Gaming is not done with their investments and might keep on looking for any future opportunities. He said, “We’re going to continue to invest. I think it’s something where we see the opportunity. We love the community around our games and our properties and our Studios, and the more we can build towards that future of more people playing.”

This thus shows that even if they take over Activision, Microsoft Gaming might still be looking to talk over some major portions of the gaming industry. But what the future brings is still not clear. Let us know what you think about the takeover in the comments below.
