Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection is a popular choice among gamers. Recently Konami, the developers of the game announced the entire collection coming to Switch, Xbox X/S series, PlayStation 5, and Steam on October 24th. The team has also confirmed that Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be available as separate digital titles from the entire collection. 

However, from the announcement it is speculated that the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 will not support keyboard and mouse controls for PC. Many users have confirmed that while visiting the store till it was accessible, they found that games titles suggested requiring a controller to play the games.

No keyboard and mouse: Fans’ Reaction to Metal Gear Solid Collection on PC

Fans took to Twitter to confirm the news that Metal Gear Solid Collection will not allow users to use a mouse and keyboard for PC. Although the person didn’t seem bothered about it he mentioned how other players might get impacted- “No Keyboard controls it seem. Ahhh… Well It doesn’t bother me but it probably will bother a few.”

Many of the fans enquired about the system requirements of the game- “Does it mention if mgs1 has achievements? I’m not on pc but ik the one on ps3 was a direct ps1 port under ps1 classics so it had no achievements. I’m curious as to how they’re handling this port.”

Some of the gamers considered it as fake- “There is nothing on the site, it is fake i think..”

However, the original creator of the post has confirmed that Konami might have deleted those pages- “it isn’t, they removed the pages.”

There were also questions from the fans- “wait if its sold separately where is the extra content gonna be on?”

Overall, fans seemed pretty curious about this game to final release- “This is reminding me the og pc port used Gamepad as the second controller of the mantis fight. I assume the new one is just emulation, so I’m curious how it on pc and new consoles.”
