Nintendo’s recent direct was a hit, the reason being those games that were revealed during this short showcase. Some of those games were first-party titles that pretty much everyone expected to see. Then there were some games that pretty much surprised every viewer out there.

They know what these collections have, but they are left wondering what the Master Collection Volume 2 would contain. Some rumors suggest it would contain a very special game indeed!

Master Collection Volume 2 would launch with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots!

The Metal Gear Solid series is indeed a prestigious franchise. Hideo Kojima’s efforts paid off with every single new game. So much so that all these games got ports on numerous platforms.

Games like Snake Eater have made their way to consoles like the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS too. It would be fair to say that most players who care for good stealth action titles have played most of the games in this series.

But one game that many fans are oblivious to is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the reason being its permanent exclusivity to the PlayStation 3. The game never came to any other platform after its initial launch. Fans have awaited a remake or remaster of this game for modern platforms, but that never happened.

And any hope of seeing such a port vanished when that infamous Konami and Hideo Kojima debacle happened. Everyone thought that this series had ended with Kojima’s time at Konami.

But all those speculations might be proven wrong soon enough. It is being suggested that this excellent game might finally come to modern platforms as part of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 2.

Metal Gear Solid V was the last major game in this series. Kojima introduced this series with open-world formula with this game.

Metal Gear Solid: 4 would be a good thing, but it would be even better if V: Phantom Pain came with this collection too. It would be exciting to explore the world of MGS V on the go when it comes to Nintendo Switch!
