Now, this is happening again with one of the world’s largest food chain franchises, McDonald’s. The popular fast-food chain has recently announced its collaboration with the popular video game franchise to sell its training cards to Pokemon fans.

Many fans were happy about the news, even saying that adult customers should save some for the kids. While some started complaining that scalpers have brought most of the happy meals, thus leaving nothing for other customers.

Notably, Pokemon and McDonald’s have collaborated a few times before, especially for Pokemon’s 25th anniversary last year. During which many fans demanded Pokemon to collaborate with McDonald’s again, and thus it happened.
Why are fans returning disappointed from McDonald’s?
Many fans also complain that McDonald’s is not taking care of their customer’s demands since all Pokemon cards are already sold beforehand, and thus are given Thor toys or Space Jam cards as the replacement.
Last time I went to McDs first thing in the morning and they told me the very first customer bought all available happy meals.

Officially they are supposed to have them today. However, when I went to pick up dinner they had space jam toys in them even though their app specifically asked which toys we wanted. The employee was nice enough to swap out the space jam toys for Pokémon. pic.twitter.com/76K38abPv3

Notably, some think that the hype for Pokemon cards might actually ruin the experience for kids. Since all the adults might buy the happy meals ahead of time, leaving nothing for the children.
This is going to be a disaster. Between the YouTubers and Scalpers the actual kids these happy meals are meant for will get nothing. Possible violence at locations? Will McDobalds have to hire security or have police on location? I say this is all likely.

While others are happy with the news, they just want it to be easier to get their hands on the Happy Meal. Since most of the TCG collectors are claimed to be adults now and can give really some trouble to onetime or new collectors.

Whatever the case, it is sure that McDonald’s has to keep track of such miscalculations before giving away Pokemon’s Happy Meals to customers.
