Now, this is happening again with one of the world’s largest food chain franchises, McDonald’s. The popular fast-food chain has recently announced its collaboration with the popular video game franchise to sell its training cards to Pokemon fans.

McDonald’s to sell Pokemon Happy Meals

The popular food chain franchise recently updated fans that they will be selling Pokemon TCG till September 6. Each Happy Meal will contain four Card Boosters, one Instruction Sheet, one Coin, one Spinner, and one Card Box.

After this, fans were really happy about the announcement and also flooded Pokemon TCG’s comments section.

Many fans were happy about the news, even saying that adult customers should save some for the kids. While some started complaining that scalpers have brought most of the happy meals, thus leaving nothing for other customers.

Notably, Pokemon and McDonald’s have collaborated a few times before, especially for Pokemon’s 25th anniversary last year. During which many fans demanded Pokemon to collaborate with McDonald’s again, and thus it happened.

Why are fans returning disappointed from McDonald’s?

Many fans also complain that McDonald’s is not taking care of their customer’s demands since all Pokemon cards are already sold beforehand, and thus are given Thor toys or Space Jam cards as the replacement.

Notably, some think that the hype for Pokemon cards might actually ruin the experience for kids. Since all the adults might buy the happy meals ahead of time, leaving nothing for the children.

While others are happy with the news, they just want it to be easier to get their hands on the Happy Meal. Since most of the TCG collectors are claimed to be adults now and can give really some trouble to onetime or new collectors.
