One of the most contentious issues that have worried the gaming community for the past one and a half years is the availability of the next-gen consoles. The scarcity of chipsets for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles has caused a wide uproar in the industry, allowing scalpers and other nefarious agents to take shrewd advantage of the situation.

Given the high uncertainty and scarcity of the stocks, a sigh of relief now comes from Walmart’s new update. According to insider Jake Randall, Walmart will be dropping PS5 restocks on 19 April. Let’s know more about this.

Walmart comes with a sigh of relief for players looking for PS5 restocks

Jake Randall has always been consistent with his approach to addressing restocks and he does not fail to inform his followers should any retailers start dropping new stocks. Likewise, he has come up with this new information that Walmart is getting new stocks for PlayStation 5 on 19th April 2022.

However, in order to access these stocks, players would need to have a Walmart+ subscription. Walmart+ is a member-only subscription service that offers exclusive perks and discounts for customers at $13 a month. This will allow you to get exclusive access to restocks as well. Randall highly recommends that players make a Walmart + account in order to get easier access to restocks. However, it is important to note that a free trial will not work in this case.

Randall also addressed the issues of scalpers raging in the market, which makes it really difficult for the players to obtain their pieces of the consoles that are high in demand at the moment.

Another key piece of information that Randall states that Walmart will always restock online with shipping to home. Shipping can take a week or worse, even a month. There is no store pickup available at the moment.
