Recently, a notification came about the release of the animated film. Although the film was to launch in December 2022, it shifted to April 2023. Surprisingly, another development came in as the movie got further postponed to holiday 2023. Thankfully, Illumination studios have reverted the release time to April 2023.

Illumination studios and Nintendo took up a joint venture to produce an animated Mario film. Universal Pictures will be the distributor of the film. The movie was announced by Shigeru Miyamoto at the September 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation. Moreover, Jack Black and Anya Taylor-Joy will be voicing the characters Bowser and Peach, respectively.
Since the announcement of the cast, the producers kept a tight curtain. The fans could not get a piece of a leak or new teaser to feed their curiosity. Earlier, the news of the postponement of the dates was enough to wary the fans about the movie.
However, it can be said that the community will get the chance to experience the feature film in “Spring 2023!” Moreover, fans will be able to see Mario in the voice of Chris Patt. On the brighter side, the history of the production house calms the worries of the fan base.

The notification carried a tease of what could be the potential title of the Mario movie. Therefore, the website earlier displayed “Super Mario Bros.” However, the section now is headed by the name “Super Mario Bros. Animated Film.”
While the notification arrived as the first one after the casting announcement, the news left the audience unmoved. But the fans welcomed the news as they saw it as a new development. Therefore, the community expects a movie that will justify the hype that has been backing it.
