PlayStation State of Play October 2021 is just a few days away, and fans are extremely excited about the event. This time the event’s major focus will be on third-party games. And a good portion of the lineup of third-party games that will be part of this event has been leaked on the internet and on multiple social media platforms. The information comes from reliable sources, so it is unlikely this information is completely dubious.

According to a Reddit user, DoodMarvelous “A user on ResetEra noticed some updated websites by Sony. She posted links with proofs. This was days before the State of Play was revealed- and the sites were updated /created seemingly out of nowhere for the following games.”

• Final Fantasy 16
• Gotham Knights
• Tchia
• Dark Pictures Anthology
• Gollum
• Voice of Card

And this leak, with the games it mentions, point towards these games being a part of the upcoming PlayStation event.

The lineup seems pretty exciting, and Final Fantasy 16 is the only game that stands out the most in this lineup. However, Sony Interactive Entertainment has provided no information regarding the leak, so it’s better to take everything with a grain of salt at this point. That said, we just have to wait a few more days to get the official announcement. Of course, jumping to a crazy conclusion at this point is not right, but a lot of people seem to be doing just that.

This time the PlayStation State of Play event won’t have any huge first-party game reveals as Sony Interactive Entertainment has already announced its major first-party lineup. This includes God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7, and Horizon Forbidden West. Instead, it will focus entirely on previously announced third-party titles, as has been mentioned before.
