However, there’s still a lot of curiosity and hype for The Legend of Zelda sequel. Especially after the news of a brand new Direct event which is set to take place this month.

Going by a speculation, coming from a trusted insider, Zelda lovers are in for a massive reveal in the upcoming Nintendo Direct. It looks like players will eventually witness the official title of the awaited sequel.

Nintendo to reveal the name of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel in September Direct

Popular YouTube channel Nin10Doland keeps sharing interesting information based on Nintendo. Recently, it mentioned some crucial details about the delayed Zelda 2. It was expected to come out later this year but earlier in 2022 the makers announced a further push. Now it will be released in Spring 2023.

Although there’s been a delay going on for the anticipated sequel, it doesn’t mean fans will not get an update on the same. At least, that’s what Nin10Doland mentioned in a recent video while referring to a leaked intel by industry insider Jeff Grub. The latter is widely known for his near-accurate speculations and pre-launch leaks for all the popular gaming IPs.

According to Jeff Grub, Nintendo could finally reveal the official title of Breath of the Wild 2. If that’s true in some capacity, all the Zelda fans will go crazy, to say the least. After all, they have been waiting to see something new from the extremely hyped installment.

The Legend of Zelda 2 has been kept a top secret so far. The developing team has deliberately kept itself from revealing the title, as it may spoil the game ahead of the main release. But now that Jeff Grub has mentioned an update for the Switch exclusive, it will be interesting to see if the leak turns out to be legitimate or not.
