Spider-Man 2 is a superhero game, and like any other superhero nowadays, this character is sharing his world with a bunch of other superheroes. It only makes sense for some references to other heroes from this shared world to make their way into this latest game.
The references featured in Spider-Man 2 are not just a passing mention of these superheroes either; they are full-fledged outfits designed after Wolverine and Black Panther. The Black Panther-inspired suit is a very stylish fusion of the signature purple and black of Black Panther, and of course, the Wolverine-inspired suit is all yellow and black.

Some might see these suits as a reference to the upcoming Insomniac Games project Wolverine. But that is only true in Wolverine’s case. It looks like they just decided to feature the Black Panther suit out of their appreciation for the character. Or maybe as the name suggests a tribute to the actor Chadwick Boseman who played the character in Marvel Cinematic Universe before he passed away in 2020.

To unlock the Wolverine suit named “Best There Is Suit,” players have to make some real effort. They need to be at Level 52. Once at that level, they can unlock the base design for 105 Tech Parts and 7 City Tokens.

More styles for this suit can be unlocked via 45 tech parts and 2 rare tech parts for styles. This one is an original design by Insomniac Games. There are strong chances that Insomniac might end up featuring in their upcoming Wolverine game.
How to unlock the Black Panther suit in Spider-Man 2
To unlock the “Forever Suit,” which is very clearly a suit inspired by Black Panther, players need to be at level 25. Then they can simply unlock it by spending 55 tech parts and 2 rare tech parts.

Extra styles for this suit can be unlocked at a cost of 25 tech parts and 1 rare tech part for styles. This suit is inspired by a very specific Black Panther suit that debuted in Black Panther number 5.
