When it comes to games, everyone has their own favorites, that reveal a lot about them and their personalities. The same can be said for the Eternals actor Kumail Nanjiani who has a separate identity as a gamer besides being an actor.
In an interview with IGN, Nanjiani revealed some of his favorite Xbox and PlayStation games that he loves playing.

Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani describes his love for his Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles
Kumail Nanjiani is an actor and comedian of Pakistani origin and stars in Marvel’s upcoming The Eternals movie. Besides being a superhero in the movie, he is one in real life as well. In an interview with IGN, Nanjiani confessed that it is impossible for him to part with his Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles almost to the point that he carries his consoles every time he moves for work! This obsession does explain why he is so committed to playing Deathloop currently.
In the interview with IGN, Nanjiani says he is “savoring” the game. He says, “I haven’t beaten it yet but I think I’m getting closer. I’m travelling for press and I’m like ‘I need to beat this game in the next two days.” Nanjiani further reveals that during quarantine, he would go for playing Gears of War Horde Mode with his buddies or play Read Dead Redemption 2 and Death Stranding while shooting the Eternals.

Looking at Nanjiani’s background, his obsession with video games makes perfect sense. He earned a computer science degree from college and also starred on HBO’s Silicon Valley.
Furthermore, he discussed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, where he mentioned how the detailing of the game’s in-game depiction of Karachi used the Arabic language on street signs instead of Urdu.

Nanjiani has been a huge fan of Commodore 64 games and writing videogame fan fiction as a kid. It wasn’t really surprising to know another video game buff amongst the big names in the industry. This must-have definitely excited the fans after the Eternals actor gave them a much closer look into his life.
