The wait is finally over for Nintendo Switch fans as the Japanese studio rolled out the highly anticipated content update for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. This amazing kart racing title has been developed by Velan studio and published by Nintendo. Ever since its launch on October 16, 2020, the title has amassed a massive fanbase. With impressive ratings all across the board, this Kart racing game has performed exceptionally on all fronts.

Now, after one year, the studio has rolled out an impressive roster of features that fans desperately wanted. Gamers will now be able to Split screens on the same device, along with elaborate new game modes.

Split-screen has arrived in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

According to a recent report by VGC, version 2.0 has added vital changes to the games. These new features and game modes will allow players to have an even better experience. New content always revitalizes any title and refreshing changes rope in new gamers, which brings us back to the highly anticipated split-screen mode.

Prior to this update, fans had to use two separate devices to play in the same session of the game. However, that will no longer be the case as one device will be capable of handling both cars. In addition to this, another game mode Relay Races has been added which will feature 2-4 players. One player will control the Kart for a lap, after which, the controls will shift to other partners. This will go on till 8 laps that will crown the champion.

Along with the new game modes, the studio has also added a brand new racing tournament in Luigi Cup. This new cup will also offer you various customizable courses along with 3 new elaborate racing tracks in Windmill Meadows, Music Broadway, and King Boo’s Courtyard.

Gamers can also unlock a special poltergust Luigi Kart. This has been the second major update the studio has rolled out for the title in 2021 and it will most likely be the last one. Prior to this recent patch, developers had worked out content back in July, which makes version 2.0 a very important update.
