It seems like Nintendo lovers might witness a surprise very soon from the Japanese gaming giant. That’s according to an industry insider who has revealed that the company may introduce a new event in September 2022.

Fans are excited for a leaked Nintendo Direct in September 2022

GamesBeat editor and reputed scooper Jeff Grub is known for his near-accurate details when it comes to sharing gaming news. While hyping up the fans on his Twitter account, he shared a link to a recent livestream on YouTube. He came up with the big news for the Nintendo fans while mentioning that the Mario maker is set to organize another Direct.

Not only that, but the insider also revealed that the Nintendo Direct is set to take place in the month of September. Although there was no mention of a specific day for the event, the leak comes at an interesting time, to say the least.

There’s already an anticipated title coming to the Switch in Splatoon 3. If the latest reveal from Jeff is anything to go by, Nintendo players will surely have a double delight in September.

Previously, the scooper had also stated that according to his sources, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker might receive an HD Remaster announcement soon.

Seems like the leaked Direct will act as a perfect opportunity for Nintendo to eventually make it happen. Moreover, Metroid: Prime Remaster is also rumored to be unveiled. According to Jeff Grub, there’s also a slight possibility of an update to be unveiled regarding Zelda 2.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were quite amazed to see such news coming out at the end of August. Being aware of how consistent Jeff Grub is with his leaks, they expressed high hopes to see crucial updates in case the Direct is set for September.
