Over the course of this year, the Nintendo fanbase has seen various reports of N64 and Game Boy games for the Switch. And to not take anything away from them, a lot of them turned out to be true with exceptional results in the remasters as well, with notable titles such as Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64.

Now, Thalamus Digital, an Indie publisher and developer of retro and console games, has teased Commodore 64 games for the Nintendo 64. Yes, the antique C64 titles might be back in business. But on the original console.

In their tweet, the developer claims they’ve listened to gamers’ prayers to bring back the generations-old titles. While there isn’t much known of what’s to come (at the time of writing), Thalamus Digital suggests more information will be provided in 2022.
