Dungeons and Dragons is an interesting case of a table-top RPG series gaining an evergreen popularity with each successive year. Ever since the universe was first created almost 50 years ago, the fan following of this saga has escalated to a whole new level.
This was quite evident to witness when famous actor and author Joe Manganiello took it upon himself to defend Dungeons and Dragons. It happened three years ago when the Magic Mike star had a feud with popular AEW wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman. The latter tried to mock Dungeons and Dragons franchise only to receive a fitting response from the True Blood actor.

When Dungeons and Dragons’ super fan, Joe Manganiello gave a fitting reply to MJF in two words!
For anyone who’s not aware of its origins and essence, D&D is a fantasy table-top RPG, initially developed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. Originally, it was published in 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules Inc. However, since 1997, it’s been published by Wizards of the Coast.

So far, Dungeons and Dragons have managed to sway the players of all age groups hooked to its various editions. Even Hollywood actors like Joe Manganiello, who’s popularly known for his role in Magic Mike, are die-hard lovers of this universe. So much so that if someone tries to take a jab at it, passionate fans never back down in giving a tight response.
In 2019, an interesting conflict took place between Joe Manganiello and AEW star wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman. The latter is known as a loud mouth among other AEW wrestlers.
While making fun of D&D games, MJF posted a picture accompanied by a tweet saying, “I don’t play dungeons and dragons.” Basically, he meant to convey that those who spend time playing this series cannot have a fit body with amazing fitness. At least that’s what seems to be his indication from the image.

It seems like his tweet didn’t go down well with many players of the table-top RPG, including Joe Manganiello. Coming up with the best possible answer to Maxwell, Manganiello also shared his own image, from a magazine cover. The actor can be seen with a toned body and overall fitness. Along with that, he wrote, “I do…”

Simply put, the Deathstroke from the DCEU wanted to give a message to MJF that even those playing D&D can utilize their time in achieving superb, overall fitness. Not to mention, this tweet gained a lot of attention from everyone. On the other hand, the tweet also conveys another message though. That one should never mess with any D&D fan, no matter what.
