The last year was a mixed bag in terms of game launches. However, when it comes to the best ones, then players definitely had a great time engaging themselves with titles like Call of Duty Vanguard, Far Cry 6, Madden NFL 22, MLB The Show 22, and many more.

Madden NFL 22, MLB The Show 21 rub shoulders with Call of Duty and Resident Evil Village!
Speaking of the best-selling US games in 2021, then the list includes various heavyweights. In the first two positions, we have Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Vanguard. This is quite surprising to witness, though. Because recently, players reported numerous issues in Vanguard, alongside other COD titles, and Call of Duty even issued an apology.
But the emergence of two games from the same series making the Top 5 is a testament to Call of Duty‘s vast popularity, despite bugs and problems.
Then we have Madden NFL 22 and MLB The Show 21, taking the third and fourth spots, respectively. These two gained huge attraction last year in the United States, selling well both digitally and physically.

Moreover, we also have Resident Evil Village, sitting in the fifth position. The eighth main entry in the iconic horror series needs no explanation for why it is in the Top 5. The game was one of the best releases to arrive last year.
