FPS gamers around the world spend thousands of hours online every day trying to get that sweet kill to make their day. From Call of Duty to Battlefield, FPS players are often known to hone their skills to perfection to dominate the lobby. Now fans have gone bonkers as dev SgtOkiDoki dropped Battle Bit: Remastered, a low poly FPS that was seven years in the making, with the scope of the relatively simplistic game.

Features of the game hint at an experience where Call of Duty’s exhilaration meets the scale and destruction of Battlefield; all mixed with a Lego-esque visual style that already had mass approval through the years.

In a recent tweet by popular streamer Jake Lucky, the CS: GO player dropped news of Battle Bit Remastered’s release to his followers. The social media content creator seemed pretty amused at the process that went behind the making of the game. After all, working on a polygon-styled FPS for seven years is quite the thing to ponder over.

Under such circumstances, gamers can only hope to believe that the devs took their sweet time and created an FPS that looks to deliver on its genre, despite its relatively basic visuals. The developer has announced the game can host up to 254 players in a lobby, and players are looking forward to experiencing their favorite element of chaos fully in the game.

Battle Bit takes the best from both worlds, adds a pinch of salt

Following the tweet by Jake, his followers also seemed unable to hold their amusement and they promptly started discussions on whether Battle Bit would be worth the long wait. While many fans find joy in the super-fast environment of the Call of Duty franchise, others feel the warmth in the utterly chaotic rounds of Battlefield.

While fans of both these franchises would swear by their favorite FPS franchise, Battle Bit looks to take the market by storm by mixing elements from both games. Furthermore, SgtOkiDoki seems to have a sense of humor as they went for low polygon mesh visuals instead of the cutting-edge graphics that have become the norm for most games these days.
