We never stop being surprised by The Last of Us, and in episode 5, a brand-new kind of infected appeared from Kansas City’s underground to pose a threat to Joel and Ellie. There was also a chance to have a closer look at the “antagonists,” like Kathleen and Perry, even though the plot revolved around Joel and Ellie and how they managed to live in Kansas City.
