Lords of the Fallen has finally released a trailer, and fans are thrilled. This title has been in development hell since its announcement in 2014. But CI games and Hexworks have finally come through and delivered a masterpiece in the dark fantasy action RPG genre.

This title is a successor/ reboot of the 2014 title of the same name. And judging by the display of close-quarter melee fights to deal with massive deformed enemies, this game has taken the best elements of its predecessor and refined them ten folds.

Earlier this month, rumors of the imminent release of the title started flying. Now to satiate all those rumors, CI Games dropped the official gameplay reveal trailer for the game. With the trailer, they also dropped the release date for the game, October 13. This means fans won’t have to wait for long to get their hands on this game. And the pre-orders for PC, PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X/S starting soon also helps further in the cause.

The trailer showcases the fall of Mournstead. Adyr’s demon forces have started to rise up, and players should take the mantle of Dark Crusaders and overthrow his reign. With the graphic details in this game, along with smooth animations and transitions, fighting those humongous bosses will be a treat for the players.

First of all, the game is split between two worlds. As shown in the showcase trailer in March, developers from Hexworks stated, “Players will have the ability to travel between two worlds: Axiom, the realm of the living, and Umbral, the realm of the dead.” Along with this, hundreds of weapons and spells are also being added to the game.

These additions could be made possible due to the usage of the powerful Unreal Engine 5 backing the Soulslike action RPG. What are your thoughts on the new trailer for Lords of the Fallen? Let us know in the comment section below.
