The renowned video game makers Bungie Inc and 343 Industries launched the first-ever Halo title way back in the year 2001. And ever since, the franchise’s popularity has only increased, resulting in the developers launching sequels. The game has millions of fans, and during the latest AEW PPV, the world witnessed Adam Cole wearing the Spartan armor.

Adam wore the Halo Infinite-inspired armor during his entry into the ring. No doubt this has left the entire AEW and the gaming community delighted. And what’s even more surprising is the senior community manager of 343 Industries, John Junyszek himself, shared the clip of Cole making his way to the ring on Twitter.

John also mentioned that he loved it.

The crowd seemed to love it, even though he wasn’t playing the role of a good guy. And in case someone missed the reference, even the AEW’s commentators mentioned the Spartan armor the wrestler was wearing.

Fans react to AEW’s Adam Cole wearing Halo-inspired gear to the ring

For the fans who aren’t familiar with the fact, just a few weeks ago, the American wrestler expressed he’s a big fan of the Halo gaming franchise. Moreover, Adam also mentioned that he loved playing the latest installment in the franchise, Halo Infinite.

He liked the title’s campaign mode and invested hours into its multiplayer mode as well. In fact, Adam also stated that the upcoming Halo Paramount+ TV series is likely going to be very story-driven. No doubt the wrestler is a die-hard Halo fan.
