“Looks Kinda Like FF16”- Fans Left Enthralled After Gameplay Footage of Upcoming PlayStation Title Lost Souls Aside Gets Shared

Final Fantasy-inspired video game Lost Soul Aside caught much attention with its debut announcement back in 2016. This game was proposed to be released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. However, due to the pandemic, it was delayed. The game initially began as a fan project but later went under Sony‘s banner. Following Sony’s interference, it is almost declared that Lost Soul Aside might not be released on any other platforms than PlayStation. 

Fresh sources confirmed that Lost Soul Aside might finally be released in 2024. However, breaking fans’ anticipation, recently a clip of the game surfaced online, giving an initial glimpse of the gameplay to the fans. 

New gameplay footage of Lost Soul Aside leaked

Fans have waited long enough since the first ever proposed plan was made public about Lost Soul Aside in 2016. Following the game’s Final Fantasy-themed gameplay, many people were keen to see how the game takes shape finally. Unfortunately, this project was delayed for a long time. Now after Sony’s announcement to publish Lost Soul Aside in 2024, a video of the gameplay showcased at the ChinaJoy event of 2023 went viral on social media channels. This ten-minute footage of the gameplay showed Kazer, the game protagonist fighting against enemies.

Although the footage was of very poor quality, with people blocking the screen randomly at times, fans were still excited to finally get a debut look of Lost Soul Aside. Apart from hazy graphics, this footage had no sound and only Chinese subtitles. The popularity of this video expressed players’ interest in Lost Soul Aside.

There weren’t many details in the footage, but players still loved the fast-paced combat skills with the special aerial combat skill of the protagonist in fending off the enemies in the game. The game will definitely hit PlayStation 5 but the team hasn’t confirmed about Windows users yet. 

Fans’ reaction to leaked footage of Lost Soul Aside

The leaked footage of the game was circulated from China’s ChinaJoy event, which was shared by trusted gamer and source Rino the Bouncer on the platform X. Adding the news of its official showcase on 30th July, he shared the glimpse of Lost Soul Aside’s footage- “HUGE: New Lost Soul Aside gameplay footage captured from China Joy.”

After his post, many people started commenting on the thread to express their anticipation about the game. People seemed curious to know if the developers finally announced an official release date for the game.

Fans asked whether Lost Soul Aside will be released for PlayStation 4 as well. 

The majority of people expressed their long anticipation over this game’s release- “I been waiting to see more this devil may cry vibes for the winnnnn.”

Fans were excited to see whether Lost Soul Aside could bring the exact vibe of Final Fantasy 16- “Looks kinda like FF16 which I’m here for.”
