The Last of Us is a brilliant title that had fans hooked to its immersive storyline. The journey of Joel and Ellie touched a lot of players and many go back to the game over and over again. Not just casual gamers, The Last of Us is a favorite to a lot of celebrities as well, including American rapper Logic. In a post on Instagram, the rapper expressed his love for the title claiming that he just started his 18th playthrough of The Last of Us. While the amount of time he has put in over ten years is already pretty impressive, it gets even cooler.
It’s a lesser-known fact that Logic is also in the game’s cast along with being one of its most avid players.

On an Insta post from July 9, rapper Logic showed off him playing The Last of Us. Along with a picture of Ellie on his screen, he wrote that this was his 18th time playing the game. Logic also tagged the developers Naughty Dog and professed his love for the studios.

For those who don’t know it yet, apart from being just another fan of the franchise, Logic is also present in The Last of Us 2 as part of the crew. How he managed to land a role in one of the best story-driven games of all time was also disclosed by Logic himself.

In a months-old YouTube upload, Logic revealed that he was part of the folks who made The Last of Us 2 a reality and there he also mentioned the connections he made that made this dream possible.
From casual laughs to landing the opportunity of a lifetime
In his older YouTube upload, Logic explained that his journey of getting involved in The Last of Us started when he first met veteran actor Steve Blum. Blum introduced Logic to the voice-over community where he met a lot of artists. Through Blum, Logic became acquainted with Ashley Johnson and Brain Foster. Logic also revealed that these connections also helped him to get access to Uncharted 4 before it was even released.

During these times, Logic met Neil Druckmann, one of the bosses at Naughty Dog. While having lunch together one day, Logic made a pitch of maybe having some roles in the next project of the studio, and to his astonishment, Neil got in touch with him days later to offer him a role in The Last of Us 2. The rest was history, as Ellie and Small Rattler’s interactions have been hailed as some of the most intense scenes in the game.
