It’s like having two inseparable sides of the same coin. The same is the case with the Call of Duty saga, especially regarding the now-iconic and rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series.

Thanks to a captivating first installment in 2019, Activision and Infinity Ward succeeded in keeping the majority of gamers hooked. A major reason for that was also the unforgettable soundtrack by celebrated composer Sarah Schachner. Now that she’s returned for 2022’s Modern Warfare II, it was obvious for all the Call of Duty fanatics to get hyped. However, they are yet to receive the latest entry’s official music.
Call of Duty fans want Modern Warfare II soundtrack by Sarah Schachner to release sooner!
In case anyone is not aware, Sarah Schachner is known for her work on some of the most iconic games and movies, like this year’s Predator prequel Prey. Apart from that, she’s composed music for multiple Assassin’s Creed entries like AC Unity, Origins, and 2020’s blockbuster Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Her involvement in the Call of Duty saga began with 2016’s Infinite Warfare by Activision and Infinity Ward. After that, she was also the composer of 2019’s rebooted Modern Warfare. Along with its realistic graphics and breathtaking gameplay mechanics, the project also received endless praise from fans for its captivating soundtrack by Sarah Schachner.

And now that she’s returned as the main composer for Modern Warfare II, it was obvious for a lot of gamers to expect her new album to drop soon after the awaited title’s launch on October 28. To their surprise, though, the soundtrack hasn’t been released yet due to unknown reasons. Eventually, Sarah Schachner herself gave an update on the situation with a tweet.

Meanwhile, most of the fans expressed their curiosity about listening to the soundtrack for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. While applauding Sarah’s work on the 2019 predecessor, they wrote about how impatiently they are waiting for the sequel’s music to arrive sooner. “literally need it now,” wrote one user. Furthermore, the fans described her work on the latest entry to be phenomenal, after enjoying the Campaign.

Hopefully, Activision will come up with much-needed news on this situation in the coming days. Modern Warfare II is now available for all the supported platforms. Players can have it on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam.
