This news might definitely upset the Switch users. Life is Strange: True Colors gets delayed to later this year. It was due to release on September 10 on all platforms, but the Switch version seems to have been stalled for the time being.
The official Twitter handle of Life is Strange confirmed this news through a thread posted earlier this week. They further added that the Remastered Collection of Life is Strange has also been delayed on all formats.
“Life is Strange: True Colors for Nintendo Switch is running a little late,” reads the tweet. “We won’t be quite ready to release on September 10 – but we still plan to release this year,” confirms the account. They are going to provide updates on the confirmed dates through their channels over the coming weeks.

Delay in Remastered Edition
The Remastered Collection, which was supposed to be released this year following the arrival of True Colors, has been pushed to 2022. Developer Deck Nine confirms that it was delayed to “alleviate additional pressure on the Life is Strange team” earlier this week.
We can expect improved visual detail of characters and environments in the Remastered Collection as Square Enix has promised. This will also include “vastly improved” character animation, according to Square Enix, using facial motion capture performances as well as upgrades to the game engine and lighting.

True Colors follows the story of Alex Chen, a young lady who moves to Haven Springs and investigates her brother’s murder, which she suspects was not an accident.
Alex has a supernatural power called empathy, through which she can perceive people’s emotions like different colored shimmering auras around them, which she may absorb to manipulate.
Square Enix has also recently released a closer look at Wavelengths DLC for True Colors.

Wavelengths is set as a prequel to True Colors and will show Steph’s journey from Arcadia Bay’s resident D&D master to Haven Springs radio DJ. The DLC is also set to feature licensed music from Foals, Alt J, Sigur Ros and many more. The soundtracks would play this in her sound booth as well as in her dating life.
