PlayStation appears to be the reason for disappointment as Hogwarts Legacy reveals an exclusive quest

The game, inspired by J. K. Rowling’s celebrated books based on Harry Potter, will offer an immersive, open-world to the players. Its story is set in the 1800s, with the fans taking on the role of a fresh student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While embarking on a mysterious adventure, they will try to uncover the dark secrets of the wizarding world.

So far, developer Avalanche has come up with impressive promotional content while hyping up most of the people for Hogwarts Legacy. Continuing a similar pattern, the team recently showcased new clips from the game during PlayStation‘s State of Play event.

In the event, however, they also revealed a fresh quest titled ‘The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop’. It’s going to be exclusive to PlayStation only and not to other platform users. This quest will offer an additional Dungeon, Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set, and an in-game Hogsmeade Shop to the PS players.

Players are upset with the devs’ latest move

But now it looks like the move may have disappointed a lot of non-PlayStation fans. Going by the social media reactions, most of them were shocked to see Hogwarts Legacy going the route of exclusivity despite being a multi-platform title.

To be more precise, they literally slammed the makers while expressing their frustration. “Console exclusives are out of date, let people play where they want!” wrote one user.
