Starfield is currently the talk of the town. From fan-made trailers to crossover with Interstellar, the Starfield craze brought some amazing theories. Now, following the release of Bethesda’s Xbox exclusive’s original song by Imagine Dragons, the excitement is currently at an all-time high.

Now adding more fuel to this excitement, Nintendo’s Masahiro Sakurai joined the bandwagon of the Starfield craze. The Japanese video game creator, best known for Super Smash Bros. recently shared a post on Twitter (now called X), indicating he’s just as excited for Starfield as the rest of the Xbox community.

Sakurai all set for Starfield, and just in time

This legendary video game director recently shared with his followers that he has completed the gameplay of Armored Core 6. However, what ignited the spark of excitement among fans was the second line of his post, which says that he is glad that this game ended before the release of Bethesda’s Xbox exclusive. Now we are just five days ahead of the launch of Starfield (excluding early access). And knowing Masahiro Sakurai has joined the bandwagon of the Starfield craze has surely got the fans pumped.

 

Sakurai, famous for fan-favorite franchises like Kirby and Super Smash Brothers, is often spotted giving valuable insights about video game developments for newcomers on his official YouTube channel. Now following his recent, tweet fans have confirmed that apart from being a legendary video game director, Sakurai also has equal excitement for playing games.

A glimpse into Bethesda’s space odyssey

Starfield is an upcoming outer space-themed role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. Developers will offer both first-person and third-person perspectives for the gamers to experience its gameplay. Additionally, this open-world game will offer over 1,000 planets for players to explore with the game’s silent protagonist Todd.

In fact, its character creation tool will help players create an almost near-perfect resemblance to their characters in the game. The narrative will provide a storyline twenty years after the Colony War between The United Colonies and the Freestar collective. Additionally, players can build or trade their spaceships, and engage in activities with the game’s other communities in an open word format.

Players will be offered individual skill trees to unlock abilities as they start levelling up with experience. Bethesda will also offer various melee weapons, explosives and firearms for players to defeat the opponent. Keeping everything in mind, it’s understandable why Sakurai is waiting for the game.
