To begin the main quest, Regional Phenomena, players can make their way to the Akkala Highlands, with the specific destination being the East Akkala Stable. The coordinates for the East Akkala Stable are 4236, 2727, 0125.

Upon reaching the stable, players should follow the path leading up to encounter an NPC named Loone. Interacting with Loone will initiate a conversation about three massive fossils scattered across the area. As part of the side quests, Link will be tasked with assembling these fossils and uncovering their significance.

How to complete Eldin’s Colossal Fossil

After marking the fossil’s location on the Pura Pad, players may embark on a long hike to reach the first site if they haven’t explored the surrounding area. The Eldin Great Skeleton is situated near the Eldin Mountains, precisely at coordinates 1641, 3700, 0098.

Upon reaching the destination, it’s time to examine the giant fossil and determine what is missing. After inspecting closely, it becomes evident that the right side of the fossil lacks an eye. Link’s task is to locate a replacement eye and restore the fossil to its original state. Fortunately, the solution is nearby.

Direct your attention below the fossil, where you’ll notice the eyeball buried beneath some rocks. Combine a weapon with a stone infusion or an arrow attached to a bomb flower. Aim at the rock formation and destroy them to uncover the eye. Once the eye is free, use the Ultrahand ability to carefully place the eyeball into the eye socket, ensuring it fits perfectly by rotating it if necessary.

Upon successful completion, the familiar quest tune will play, indicating your accomplishment. Speak to Loone, who will be waiting at the front of the fossil, to receive a reward of 50 Rupees. Additionally, she will disclose the location of a second fossil that requires repair.
