Counter Strike: Global Offensive is a tactical first-person shooter known for its intense terrorist-counter-terrorist situations. Released back in 2012, Valve’s most prized creation is still popular among veteran gamers and long-time fans. In fact, CS:GO has created some of the most brilliant pro-FPS players in its history.

A prominent example of a pro CS:GO player would be Adam ‘Loop’ Bahriz, who is a Twitch streamer.
He has been playing the popular shooter since 2012, the year of release. What may surprise fans is his concerning range of health problems. He is, in fact, legally blind and deaf due to a genetic disease. Well, it’s marvelous to see Loop overcoming such physical difficulties to create good content for his fans!

In an interview, Jake Lucky, co-founder of Full Squad Gaming, introduces Loop as a “legally blind and deaf, yet a very very good Counter Strike player”, before Loop takes over. He talks about his struggles owing to the medical issues he has had to endure all these years. Watch the interview below!

In addition to his vision and hearing disabilities, Loop also cannot feel pain. Even with all the physical complications, Loop has been known to strike down his opponents in seconds. He is also, reportedly, level 10 on FACEIT! It’s wonderous how much this talented Counter Striker has achieved.
According to Loop, he has had to go through 4 face surgeries, and a foot surgery until now. He reveals that doctors are not willing to perform a surgery on his eyes, even though he’s willing to. As it happens, corneal transplants have the potential to make his eyesight better but is extremely risky.

Back in 2017, Loop faced cheap bullying in a PUG match (ESEA), which he was streaming on Twitch. As it happens, he sent an in-game message to his teammates mentioning his inability to talk because he had had his teeth removed due to a genetic disease. His teammates took him to be a troll and abused him, and later, voted him out of the game with the reason ‘No Comms’.

Following this incident which was streamed online on Twitch, Loop received a ton of support from the community, both financially and mentally. He was also offered a streamer’s contract from EnvyUs, a popular Esports organization. In fact, the bullies also apologized to him on ESEA forums later on.
Although he has had a tough life, Loop is now much better owing to all the treatments he got in the past few years. He also has a fan base, who appreciates his CS:GO skills. His Twitch currently has 239K followers!
