Bungie’s 30th anniversary is around the corner and looks like fans are going to get something very special this time. According to a leaker, a Halo Infinite crossover will take place later this year to celebrate the Bungie’s milestone. If this rumor is true, then this is very exciting news for all Halo fans. Bungie is the main company that gave birth to such a popular franchise before handling it to the 343 Industries. The very first Halo game was developed way back in 2001.

Bungie is also the developer of Destiny 2. With 16 total major releases, Bungie gave many popular franchises to fans. According to a leak, Bungie is planning something big for the milestone. Well, the 30th anniversary is such a suitable occasion to give fans something they have always wanted.

Halo Infinite and Destiny 2 Crossover is on the way

Leaker Wish shared this news on Twitter. He also highlighted Bungie’s plan for the upcoming Destiny 2. The Tweet says, “December 30th secret halo-themed mission. Mission takes place from the Halo to Halo.” It is unclear whether this is inside information or the leak is from the recent Destiny 2 “Zoom leak.” The crossover is expected to release later this year in December.

The Mission is expected to be released on December 30, 2021, and it will take place on the Halo ring from Halo. However, nothing is confirmed yet and this leak should be taken as a leak only. These are just unconfirmed speculation. For such a big crossover, a legal agreement is a must between Bungie and Microsoft. However, Bungie isn’t officially partnered with Microsoft (Halo’s IP owner). Both the games have tons of similarities in terms of gameplay as well movement.

Destiny 2 is now available in PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and Xbox One. Halo Infinite is all set to hit the stores later this fall for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.
