In the Trash Taste Podcast, PewDiePie opened up about his thoughts on one of the biggest and most popular MOBA games in the current times, League of Legends. His takes about League shocked the Trash Taste hosts, Garnt and Connor.

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, is a Swedish YouTuber known for his Let’s Play videos and comedic formatted videos and shows. He is one of the earliest content creators on the platform. In his career that spanned over 10 years, Pewds has been a catalyst in many controversies. 

Though Felix made his name for the gaming content, his takes on certain games pull him into the spotlight, but not in a positive way. Recently, in one of the biggest podcasts on YouTube, Trash Taste. Pewds shared his opinion on a certain game that not only surprised the fans but also the hosts. 

PewDiePie finally makes it to Trash Taste Podcast

Joey Bizinger, Garnt Maneetapho, and Connor Colquhoun’s Trash Taste is a YouTube podcast based in Japan. Initially, it started as an anime podcast, but currently, the anime-related conversation in the podcast is very rare.

The Podcast very often feature other YouTubers, content creators, and even celebrities as their guests. In the recent episode of Trash Taste, PewDiePie was invited as the fourth member of the group.  

The Trash Taste members, especially Joey Bizinger aka the Anime Man, is a close friend of Felix. They were trying to bring Felix into the show for a long time. But the pandemic and the lockdown of the country were limiting their efforts. But as the rules got a little loose, Felix finally shifted to Japan with his Wife Marzia. As result, Trash Taste was finally able to bring the King of YouTube on the ship. 

What did PewDiePie Say about League of Legends in the Trash Taste podcast? 

In the Podcast, Pewds talked about a variety of topics. While discussing LAN cafes and how he used to Play Dota with his friends there, Pewds said, “We would play Dota the most.” He added, “Dota was the sh*t back in the day, and we had these LAN cafes in Sweden where everyone just played Dota.”

The other members of the Podcast, Garnt, and Connor started “cringing” at Felix’s takes. They started saying League of Legends is the better MOBA. As Connor stated, “It’s Sh*t League.” According to Connor, League fixed everything that was wrong in Dota.

PewDiePie interrupted the League of Legends talk with a loud “F*ck you” filled with laughter and then stated that “League owns everything to Dota.” He added, “League wouldn’t exist without Dota.”

The current MOBA giants have undoubtedly brought a lot of great improvements to the genre, but we can’t deny the fact that it all began with Dota. It was the seed of the MOBA games.
