Genshin Impact describes Layla as a Rtawahist student who has mastery in Theoretical Astrology. To start with her normal attack, she can deal damage by performing three rapid strikes. Moreover, a charged attack will follow more stamina consumption with two rapid sword strikes.

As per Nights of Formal Focus (Elemental Skill), she will summon a shield known as the Curtain of Slumber whilst dealing with AoE Cryo DMG. For a small moment, Layla will get affected by the shield. However, it has the strength to absorb Cryo DMG with 250% effectiveness.

Furthermore, Night Stars and Shooting Stars will get activated during Curtain of Slumber. And Layla will get one night star every 1.5 seconds while the shield is active. Which can be used for causing AoE Cryo DMG.

For her Elemental Burst, Dream of the Star-Stream Shaker, Layla will summon a Celestial Dreamsphere under which enemies will be constantly affected by Starlight Slugs. Above all, with every hit, one Night star will get generated for the nearby Curtain of Slumber. Thus, these are the abilities that Layla contributes to the player’s team composition.
