Valorant’s immensely competitive playground gives players the perfect opportunity to showcase their shooting skills and intelligent gameplays. However, it is still a multiplayer game. Valorant hosts 5 versus 5 competitive matches. So, you cannot avoid your team at any cost.
Multiplayer shooter games are definitely fun, especially with friends. But with teammates sharing their opinions via voice chat in a match, it may become a bit overwhelming for solo players during critical situations like a 1 versus 4 moment.

Riot Games, the popular studio behind Valorant, has always been very calculative of the game’s mechanics. The developers have always buffed the weak and nerved the overly powerful to maintain a balance. In addition to the always-controversial agent adjustments, the team takes quick actions on game-breaking bugs to provide players with a seamless experience.
With that being said, Valorant also features very weird mechanics that can infuriate players in certain situations. Well, all that is expected in most competitive shooter games. In fact, Riot has once again proved that the team extensively cares about player experience. The most recent Valorant update has now added a Clutch Mute key bind that carries an exciting use!
What does the Clutch Mute key bind do in Valorant?
As we mentioned, you may have experienced overwhelming clutch situations in the game where you had to take on the entire enemy team single-handedly. Often in such situations, some teammates may unintentionally distract you or disrupt your game sense by, well, screaming!
To tackle the situation, Riot has now added a Clutch Mute option. Using the same, you’ll be able to mute all your teammates by just pushing a specific key. We think it’s super sporting of Riot to add such a feature and a much-needed break for players who like solo queuing.

What else does the new update bring?
Valorant’s 4.11 Patch is not a major update but comes with a lot of anticipated changes. Alongside the new Clutch Mute key bind, Riot has deployed some much-needed bug fixes that hampered player experiences.

Another much-reported bug involving Riot’s spawn point scoring system in Deathmatch was addressed with the latest patch. Players will now spawn further from where they die, just like it’s supposed to be. No more revenge kills! You can take a detailed look at the 4.11 patch notes right here.
