However, it looks like the recently released Steam Deck is going to be a solid competitor in giving Nintendo Switch a run for its money. In fact, it might become a superior alternative for the popular console, according to a recent data.

Steam Deck becomes a hit for Nintendo gamers who are playing Switch titles on the portable gaming PC

Last week, Valve revealed the list of the most-played games on the Steam Deck gaming PC for August 2022. Interestingly, the titles featured in the top ten list are mostly those that are also available for the Nintendo Switch. Vampire Survivors is on the top which is currently not having a Switch version.

However, other games like Cult of the Lamb, Stardew Valley, Hades, Skyrim, and Monster Hunter Rise all work really well on Nintendo’s console. What really sets it apart from the Switch, however, is the power-packed specifications. Steam Deck comes with a comparatively better horsepower than the Nintendo console. Thus, it makes for an appealing experience for anyone who spends time on it while exploring multiple supported titles.

On the other hand, it can be said that Nintendo players are so much in love with the Switch that they can’t get enough of it whatsoever. Maybe that’s the reason why they are playing so many Switch titles on another platform such as Valve’s portable PC.
