Nintendo released Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes in 2021. And these two have seen a significant number of improvements in the last one year, due to having some issues. But seems like not all of them are fixed yet and will take more time.

The Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes just received an additional update, 1.2.0, for this exact same purpose. And it does bring with it key solutions and additions to make the gameplay better for the fans.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl update 1.2.0 details

The newest update, which is now available to download, adds multiple changes to the remakes. Released on February 21, 2022, version 1.2.0 brings more trainers to the Union Room. Simply put, you can play with more people locally and online in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Here are all other highlighted changes in the new Pokemon update:

  • Additional Colosseum Battle feature: You can enter the Colosseum on the second floor of the Pokemon Center. There you can fight with other players having customized rulesets. Battle options include Single, Double, and Multiplayer, on a local or online basis.
  • Pokemon Trading Battles: If you have any Pokemon, that you obtained using illicit modifications, you can’t use it anymore in Link Trades or Link Battles.
  • Several new changes are made for a more pleasant gameplay experience.

Addressing the download instructions for the players regarding the latest update, they are actually quite simple to follow. Users need to connect their Nintendo Switch to the internet. After that, they have to go to the HOME menu and start Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Version 1.2.0 will then download automatically.

After you are done, the fresh version will show up on the title screen of the game on Nintendo Switch.

It seems like the new update will likely make the two Pokemon remakes much better. Some of the fans also think the same way, somehow.
