In case anyone missed it, Red Dead Redemption II is already playable on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, it still lacks support for 60 FPS gameplay, which could have been included in a next-gen port. Rockstar Games has canceled PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ports for Red Dead Redemption II, suggests rumor
Developed by GTA’s Rockstar Games, the second installment in its franchise was launched four years ago. Initially, it made its way to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One platforms. The story of the game is set in the year 1899 and follows the journey of outlaw Arthur Morgan. He’s a member of the Van der Linde gang, under the fictionalized representation of Western, Midwestern, and Southern United States.
The title has gained a reputation among the fans for being a phenomenal video game ever released in history. While the players have enjoyed it on the last-gen consoles, it’s also available for the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S but with a locked frame-rate. Recently, several leaks had claimed that Red Dead Redemption II will get a proper port for the PlayStation 5, along with the newest Xbox series.
