Is Sony planning to launch new software for PlayStation 5?

Well, the answer is absolutely yes. Sony’s PlayStation blog revealed brand-new software for their PlayStation 5, which is designed for a better gaming experience for the users. This blog released some details from the team, that hinted toward better accessibility of the consoles and many new ways for choosing the game content for users.

A new 3D audio option is also available with this new software. This 3D audio system will allow users to have 3D audio supported by Tempest 3D AudioTech. Users can also attach their Dolby sound systems such as sound bars, speakers, or home theatre systems with the device. 

In this new software, Sony will offer new tips for the consoles, which definitely will increase players’ experience in multiplayer games. Additionally, there will be better connectivity and support for large-capacity games with sizes of 8TB. Although Sony decided to keep this beta access of the software to be limited within some countries, this software might be available worldwide later this year.

Participants selected for the beta test will be emailed by today. The email will be sent with the option to print or download. However, although many might be excited about the beta session, fans should remember that many features of this software might not proceed after the beta test if found buggy.

This new software for PlayStation 5 will allow players to attach a second controller. This second controller will be an assist one, but both the controllers will be able to function in one PlayStation 5 as a single device. This ability to attach an assist controller will increase the multiplayer experience for PlayStation users.
