

Mario Kart 8 fans are currently hyped for its DLC arrival later this week. Nintendo is set to offer some exciting perks with the upcoming release of the expansion content in the hit racing title.
However, even before its release, the DLC has seemingly revealed great improvements that fans can expect in Mario Kart 8. Just recently, Nintendo revealed some images from the awaited DLC and, looking at them closely, one can tell it’s positive news for the Switch game.

Mario Kart 8 DLC to bring key graphical improvements
For the uninitiated, Mario Kart 8 is a racing game developed and published by Nintendo. Players get to control the characters from the Mario series. In their quest to win the race, they need to stop the opponents by collecting various items.
Coming onto the DLC part, then it’s coming this Friday for the Nintendo Switch. Interestingly, a widely followed YouTube channel, GameXplain, spotted a crucial detail in the newest pictures from the anticipated expansion.
Nintendo tweeted some images from the Mario Kart 8 DLC on its official account. Surprisingly, one of them offered a good reason to fans to go for this upcoming expansion. And that’s because of the graphical improvements the game may see upon the release of the DLC.

GameXplain noticed that one image had better colors and its overall aesthetics also looked highly impressive; the same image, released previously, had appeared dull.
This clearly means that Mario Kart 8 DLC is likely to introduce key changes in the racing title.
As for the downloadable content, players can pre-download its first batch ahead of the main debut on March 18 for Switch.
More Nintendo releases in 2022
The awaited DLC for Mario Kart 8 is not the only thing fans are excited about this year.

There are even more anticipated games coming in 2022, with the likes of Kirby and the Forgotten Land later this month. Moreover, Zelda 2, the next major installment in the open-world franchise, is also arriving at some point this year. However, the latter still goes without an official title from the makers.
