Just a few days back on the 9th of Feb 2022. The Japanese gaming giant Nintendo took the internet by storm when they announced various exciting upcoming projects at Nintendo direct. What amazed the community most was how Nintendo revived their 2006 release Wii Sports for Switch console. Moreover, the fans were also pretty much thrilled when Nintendo announced a new DLC introducing a whopping 48 remastered courses into the 2014 title Mario Kart 8.

It’s true, in fact, after Nintendo Direct, various rumors and leaks began surfacing, all of which hinted towards Mario Kart 9. Moreover, according to an industry insider, the devs are working on Mario Kart 9.

On the 18th of Feb 2022, one prominent gaming personality, popularly known as “Zach” uploaded a video on YouTube. In this video, Zach talks about the various titles that Nintendo announced at the Direct event.

Zach also talks about the Mario Kart 9’s leaks and rumors. The industry insider claims that the game is still under development. Moreover, according to the insider’s sources. The popular Japanese game developer, Bandai Namco, is the official developer of the upcoming Mario Kart 8 DLC.

This means the Nintendo EPD (Entertainment Planning & Development Division) is working on the Mario Kart 9. If the insider’s words happen to be true, it’s likely that the devs will make some official announcement regarding this rumored title.

The Japanese giant announced other upcoming games like Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and many more. Moreover, the popular gaming brand also announced brand new DLCs, story expansions, new in-game modes for many titles. No doubt February turned out to be full of surprises for the entire community.
