However, this won’t likely remain the case, according to a new report. The report suggests an unfortunate scenario for the upcoming Jedi Fallen Order 2 from EA.

Following the immense popularity of the first installment, EA is currently working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2. Which is yet to receive a date of its arrival or any other major detail. But an insider just revealed that the game will only support the next generation of consoles, namely the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with the PC.

The 2019 game became an instant hit with the players who resonated with its storyline and overall presentation. By many, it’s even considered to be one of the best Star Wars titles in recent years.

While EA has tried its best to prevent multiple leaks, there are some scoopers who always manage to find something on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2. As reported by Gamerant, this time, it was Jeff Grubb who just dropped a crucial news on the project.

For those who don’t know about him, Jeff Grubb is one of the most trusted industry insiders. So whenever he comes up with an intel, it mostly ends up to be accurate regarding any game.

The scooper just mentioned that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will reportedly drop the support for older consoles. Simply put, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners won’t be able to experience the awaited sequel.

Grubb clearly revealed that it will come out for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in addition to PC. When asked about it by a user in the comments, on whether it’s next-gen only, he answered: “I am pretty sure it is. I have double checked. I am pretty sure it is.”
